Peach varieties

 Nectarines are a variety of peach; 

its skin is smooth while the peach is velvety.

Donut peaches (doughnut peaches, flat peaches) are another variety; its outward appearance is like a crushed peach; its flesh is juicy, deliciously sweet and whitish-colored.

Apricots

Apricots are stone fruits, fleshy and very aromatic. We consume them fresh in summer and dehydrated or dried in winter; they are a good source of energy and minerals like potassium.
